Part of an on-going series of watching over those who watch us, an article comes in from 2 days ago regarding cops and why we don’t want them nor need them:
WBAL: “Couple Arrested For Asking For Directions”
Here’s a couple that broke a simple law (rolling through a stop) while lost in a state they are not familiar with. Asking a cop for directions, they’re denied, and then blocked from getting the help they need. End result? The slammer!
Here’s an APB (Anti-Police Bulletin) to all those with an extra 5 minutes on their hands. The contact information for this situation is as follows:
Baltimore City Police Department
Southern District
Address: 10 Cherry Hill Road
Baltimore, Md 21225
Phone Number: (410) 396-2499
Detectives: (410) 396-2504
Community Relations: (410) 354-5169
If you have the time and energy, give them a ring and ask them for details on the situation. You’ll likely be forwarded to their press secretary, at which point you should ask to speak with Major Eric Jordan who heads the district and is likely in charge of the officers who violated the freedom to travel of the people arrested and not charged.
