The Dada Death Penalty Amendment

Posted by adam.dada on January 4th, 2006

With all the news on Jack Abramoff and political corruption, I believe it is time to push for a new Constitutional Amendment. I don’t believe in government anymore, as I have no faith in giving others the ability to use force against individuals. In the grand scheme of things, I believe we should only have laws cover those who work for the public “good” — only politicians and employees of the State should have to follow the law.

With that being said, I propose a new Constitutional Amendment which I will now call the Dada Death Penalty Amendment. It includes merely the following text

Should any public official (elected, hired or paid for in any way with public funds) abuse their position, they will pay for their treason with their lives.

That’s it. End of story. Treason is the ultimate crime, and I believe that treason can only be committed by someone who has taken an oath to uphold freedom.

What Abramoff allegedly did was involve himself with politics, and abuse taxpayer funds. Under my Amendment, if he is found guilty, I believe he should be put to death.

Each and every politicians, if they are found guilty of abusing their oath to uphold personal freedom and the Constitution, should be put to death.

If a cop is found guilty of violating his oath and breaks any law, they should be put to death.

If a prison guard harms an inmate, he should pay for it with his life.

If a judge accepts bribes to skew a case, he should accept the ultimate penalty for abusing the ultimate power.

If a federal executive offers false testimony that brings any death or harm to any citizen, he should step down and step into the noose.

This is only fair. When these politicians manipulate their power, they cost all of us millions and billions of dollars. These dollars could have been used to protect our lives with homes, health insurance, medicine, better educations or help us build our businesses. Because the money was stolen and misused, it has hurt our lives and our ability to live freely. When I must give up my life for the politicians’ end goals, I believe they must offer theirs if they abuse their ultimate powers.

Isn’t it fair? If you want ultimate power over me, you should be willing to show me your honesty by accepting the ultimate penalty if you abuse it. I will accept almost any law if this Amendment can be passed. I will pay any tax, follow any regulation and disregard any right if the politicians understand the penalty for abusing my faith.

UPDATE From the viscious e-mails I’ve been getting, I guess I have to mention that this comment was entirely comical. The news reports I see every day only show the corruption of government, the same government that the voters allow to arm themselves to the teeth. This is also the same government that can take your land without compensation, stick you in an offshore jail without a lawyer, and judge you a criminal just because you decide to sell your body for sex or put the medicine of your choosing into your own body on your own land. They’re allowed to kill us virtually, financially and truly, so I’m just protesting that they should give up their lives if they commit treason. In the U.S., a traitor is not someone who protests government — a traitor is someone in government who is disloyal to their oath to do no harm to an individual’s freedoms.

From your e-mails I’m assuming you’ve forgotten that.
